Badrinath: It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. The temple is situated at an altitude of 3,133 meters above sea level.
The Char Dham Yatra is considered one of the most sacred pilgrimages in Hinduism. It is believed that by undertaking this yatra, one can attain spiritual purification and blessings from the deities. The pilgrimage usually starts from Yamunotri, then proceeds to Gangotri, Kedarnath, and finally concludes at Badrinath. The yatra is usually undertaken during the summer months, from April to November, when the weather is favorable for travel.
