Char Dham Yatra refers to a pilgrimage tour in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It involves visiting four sacred Hindu temples, collectively known as Char Dham. The four temples included in the Char Dham Yatra are:
Yamunotri: It is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna and is located in the western region of Garhwal Himalayas. The temple is situated at an altitude of 3,293 meters above sea level.
Gangotri: It is dedicated to Goddess Ganga and is located in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The temple is situated at an altitude of 3,042 meters above sea level.
Kedarnath: It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. The temple is situated at an altitude of 3,583 meters above sea level.
Badrinath: It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. The temple is situated at an altitude of 3,133 meters above sea level.
The Char Dham Yatra is considered one of the most sacred pilgrimages in Hinduism. It is believed that by undertaking this yatra, one can attain spiritual purification and blessings from the deities. The pilgrimage usually starts from Yamunotri, then proceeds to Gangotri, Kedarnath, and finally concludes at Badrinath. The yatra is usually undertaken during the summer months, from April to November, when the weather is favorable for travel.

DAY 01:
HARIDWAR TO BARKOT
Morning meet our driver at haridwar & drive for Barkot via Mussoorie, enr oute visit Mussoorie Lake & Kempty Fall in Mussoorie. Later drive straight to Barkot. Check into the hotel arrival in Barkot. Overnight stay at Barkot.
DAY 02:
BARKOT - YAMUNOTRI - BARKOT
Early morning after breakfast (packed breakfast), drive to Jankichatti Pholchatti & start trek from here to Yamunotri (6kms) (Either by walk
or by horse or by Doli at own cost). After taking bath in the Jamunabai Kund's warm water and having "Darshan" of "Yamunaji" return to Jankichatti by trek.
Later drive towards Barkot, Overnight stay at Barkot. . At Yamunotri, One can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the Tapt kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as "Prasad". Here near the temple "Pooja" can be offered to Divya Shila. Surya Kund: There are a Number of thermal springs near temple, which flows into numerous pools.
The most important of these is Surya Kund. Divya Shila: A rock pillar, worshipped before entering the Yamunotri Temple.
DAY 03:
BARKOT - UTTARKASHI
Morning after breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi. Visit Shivgufa on the way to U ttarkashi. Arrival in Uttarkashi visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi city. After that check in Hotel. Day free for rest. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Uttarkashi is home to a number of ashrams, temples. The name of the town reflects its similarity to and location (as north of) the city of Kashi (Varanasi). Similar to Varanasi, town of Uttarkashi is also situated on the banks of River Ganga.
DAY 04:
UTTARKASHI - GANGOTRI - UTTARKASHI
Early morning (packed breakfast) drive to Gangotri, enroute at Gan gnani take a holy dip in Garam Kund, further drive to Gangotri via beautiful Harsil Valley. Harsil is famous for its nature beauty and for the majestic views of the Deodar trees and mountains. On arrival at Shree Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform Pooja and Darshan, after that relax for some time in the lovely surroundings. Later drive back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
DAY 05:
UTTARKASHI - GUPTKASHI
In the morning after breakfast, drive to Guptkashi via Moolgarh & Lam bgoan. En route, you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini river comes from Kedarnath, drive alongside the river to reach Guptakashi, and visit Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptakashi. Check into the hotel on arrival in Guptakashi. Overnight stay at Guptakashi.
DAY 06:
TREK TO KEDARNATH
Wake up early to witness the beautiful sunrise and post breakfast check out from our hotel. Drive to Sonprayag and take a local jeep from there till Gaurikund. Begin your trek to Kedarnath Dham – one of the Char Dham of Uttarakhand. Reach Kedarnath by evening and after reaching Kedarnath check in to camp/ Hotels freshen up, and take rest.Overnight stay in Hotel / Ashram or Camps.
DAY 07:
TREK DOWN TO GAURIKUND
Wake up early to witness the beautiful sunrise and get ready for Darshan . After Darshan , assemble and take breakfast ( at your own cost) . After that , start your trek down to Gaurikund . On reaching Gaurikund ,Take local jeep to Guptkashi and then transfer to a hotel in a private vehicle. Overnight stay & Dinner in a hotel.
DAY 08:
GUPTKASHI - BADRINATH
In the morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to joshimath. On arrival in Joshimath, check in the hotel. Overnight stay and dinner at a hotel in joshimath/Badrinath.
DAY 09:
RUDRAPRAYAG - RISHIKESH - HARIDWAR
Get up early in the morning, Have breakfast and checkout.
Dri ve towards Rishikesh which is located 218km away which takes 6- 7hr by road.
After reaching Rishikesh you can take short break then drive to Haridwar which is just 19km away from Rishikesh and takes 30min to reach there by road. Be a part of the ganga aarti
Depart for delhi in night.
