Chandrashila, which translates to "Moon Rock," is the summit of the trek and sits at an altitude of approximately 4,000 meters (13,123 feet) above sea level. The trek to Chandrashila begins from Chopta, passing through the sacred Tungnath Temple, which is the highest Shiva temple in the world.
